Christina Morales started working on Financial Capability at the WWBIC (Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation) Make Your Money Talk Class in July of 2016. She has since been meeting regularly with her Financial Coach to work on money skills at her own pace. She is learning to count money and choose the correct bills to use when making a purchase.
Putting her skills to use
Christina puts her skills to use when she goes shopping at rummage sales with her grandmother where she likes to buy jewelry and fancy lotions. She is also working on developing job skills through work experiences at school, including helping to clean at a school for younger children.
Christina will continue working with the Promise Financial Capability program so she can make good spending choices when she starts earning her own money!
